Where to Stay in Koh Phi Phi ?
Note : Koh Phi Phi is a small place with high demand and the prices of the hotels are significantly higher than other islands, especially during the high season. The hotels also tend to get full very quickly and it is difficult to find a room without reservation (well, at least a good room).

Option 1 : Stay in the center of Koh Phi Phi
Let’s look again at Map 2 :
The “center” of Koh Phi Phi is a small area (less than 1 Km long). Here are all the hotels, all the restaurants, the pier and the night parties on the beach. The vast majority of the travelers are staying here.
You can see the “center” on the following photo :

Some of the budget hotels are on a hill. That was my case. I had to carry my suitcase up.
It was worth it. The view I had from my room was beautiful.
There are more sophisticated hotels in Koh Phi Phi.
There are bungalows. Many hotels have a swimming pool.
Option 2 : Stay in a remote resort on the edge of Koh Phi Phi
Let’s look again at Map 1 :
There are some resorts located on beaches outside the center. The advantage can be a wonderful scenery. The disadvantage is the transport. Some resorts are only accessible by a long tail boat (service provided by the resort), other resorts can be reached with a trek via hills.
