There is a train operating between the center of Bangkok and the main international airport Suvarnabhumi. (called airport rail link).
The full journey takes 30 minutes and costs 45 baht. Frequency is about every 15 minutes. It doesn’t operate at night.
The last station of the train is called Phaya Thai and there it connects to the skytrain (same station name). Makkasan station of the train is good if you want to go to Asok area or if you want to connect with the underground (MRT). Ratchaprarop station is good if you want to go to Pratunam area and Chit Lom. If you want to go to Khaosan road, take a taxi from the last station Phaya Thai, It should cost 70 baht.
