What is Hummus ?
Hummus means Chickpea in Hebrew (the grains). It also means the famous paste of chickpea.
So yes, Hummus and Falafel are made of the same stuff. The grains of Hummus are a great source of protein, so everything makes sense, you can eat a lot of Hummus instead of animals.

2. Garger Hazahav – Hummus
This Hummus is located in the walking street of Levinski Market in south Tel-Aviv. It is a very trendy zone on Friday afternoons. In fact, it is difficult to find a place to sit here on Fridays, so if you want to be sure to eat a Hummus in this place, visit in the middle of the week. Apart from the Hummus, you should visit this area on Fridays because of the special atmosphere.

3. Hummus Asli
They exist for more than 40 years in Tel-Aviv and all the locals know them. They are located in the north part of Tel-Aviv, near the port. The area is animated in the evening with a few cafés.
